Pick any of Seth Godin’s book and your sure to have your money’s worth. If I had to make one suggestion, it’ll be this one (or perhaps Linchpin). A book on leadership, and why you have what it takes to make a difference. A must read.
Ignore Everybody: And 39 Other Keys to Creativity (Amazon)
This book is different that the million other books on creativity. A real and practical approach to looking at things differently. If you think creativity is for the artsy-fartsy, you most definitely need this book.
Rework (Amazon)
Written by the folks behind 37signals, this book will redefine the way you see business. A collection of short essays (with pictures!), it’s a quick — but nonetheless highly important — read.
The Blue Sweater (Amazon)
A book on why charity isn’t always the answer and how hope always exists. Jacqueline Novogratz tells her story of quitting a top-of-the-line finance job to start a microfinance institution in developing countries. Profound and insightful, definitely on the A-list.
